Final Writting Assigment- Page 144

Going to a new town is a new opportunity. About 5 years ago, I moved from my natural hometown: Rio Grande, Puerto Rico to go with my mother and little sister to Jayuya, Puerto Rico; my mother's hometown. Afther the divorce with my father and mother, she decided to go there and start a new life with all her family. My older sister stayed with my dad because of her graduation of the school that year. Always from small, I remeber some trips to visit my family, but the experience of going to live was new. In this essay, I'm going to talk about the things I really liked about that new experience, such as the people, my family, and the surroundings of the town.

Firstable, I've been surprised by the way the other teenagers act. One example of that is the hanging out version; over there is more relaxing and enjoyable. In that time, I probably have 13 years old, but I have a lot of cousins from different ages and I learned a lot. They're sociable people. Also they're peaceful people, less to worry about. There are not so many reunited teens over there like the urban region of Puerto Rico. There are huge differences between them. Secondly, I also had a small difficult to adjust to the family. For example, my mother's family does not make me happy, comfort, or etc. They're hypocrites. They also tend to manipulate others. You have to be alert with them so you can live with them. I also like the area, environment, and surroundings of the town. An additional example, were my trips with my cousins around, knowing the places. The climate is cool. The heat from where I came from is not longer bothering me. The mountains and valleys are good for agriculture and so many things. The rural zone inspires peace and calm, not the stress that the urban region generates.

To conclude, I can say that going to a new town should mean more to the people. There are so many tings we can do, so many things we can learn. Exploring the world will help you know you better. What things you like most, what things doesn't, etc. Living in Jayuya was a totally new experience, that makes a new me.
